GIS based Planning Atlas

Atlas has been prepared for the planning department that consists of about 100 bi-lingual maps based on development/socio-economic indicators. The complete atlas is available online and an online dynamic map query based on 4000 indicators of sankhyaki patrika is also possible. The application has helped the planning department to drastically cut down on the time required for preparation of Planning Atlas manually.

Lokvani

Lokvani project has been launched in the year of 2004 with the objective to help citizens make their grievances related to government services in an easy manner and also get their grievances redressed within 15 days of filling complaint through kiosk centers. It gives citizens an opportunity to interact with the government without actually visiting any government office. Some of the services offered include online submission, monitoring and disposal of public grievances/complaints, online land records, information about various government schemes, application forms, developmental works/ schemes/ expenditures/beneficiaries etc, information about local employment opportunities in the district etc.

The land records have been computerized and available on line at Lokvani website. Also services like Online Registration of Death/Births, Certificates for SC/STs, Domicile etc being offered through Single Window service. More than 50 other districts of UP have been now using Lokvani based citizen services.

Mine Mitra

MINE MITRA is a unified & responsive platform to provide all citizen-centric e-services for common man, farmers, stockist, lessee, transporters & key stakeholders. The applications are scrutinized digitally of LICENSE, PERMISSIONS, PERMIT & LEASE issued by the department namely Krishi Bhumi, Niji Bhumi, Stock License, Mineral Retailer Registration, Building/Development Project, Mining Plan, Vehicle Registration & Deed Execution thereafter accepts, rejects, or marks them to the respective authority. Services like Stock License, Ordinary Earth, Krishi Bhoomi are integrated with Nivesh Mitra and UP Mineral Mart facilitates the public for purchase of minerals from the comfort of their homes and getting it delivered at any desired location. It’s a hassle-free online platform bringing together supplier & consumer under same roof. Integrated Mining Surveillance System is an AI/IoT based smart enforcement system installed at major mining routes to track suspicious vehicles & raise an alarm to the mining department with real time data monitoring with Decision Support System and Command Centre to issue-notices and curb illegal mining practices.

Key Aspects

  • MINE MITRA has been successfully deployed in the state of Uttar Pradesh, creating a standardized legal regime applicable uniformly to all concessionaires operating across the state.
  • MINE MITRA has processed 59,566 applications online. 2 crore EMM11 have been issued by Leaseholders.
  • 1800 sellers, 8500 transporters’ vehicles have been registered on E-commerce platform. 27,144 e-notices has been disbursed and has boosted economy by generating a revenue of 32 Cr for the government till date.

Mine Mitra covers Farmers, Citizens, Lessee, Stockist, Transporters, Miners, Mines Officers, Mines Inspector, District Magistrate, Government Departments and other departments (State Government Construction Agencies).

Chikitsa Setu

Department of Medical Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh has launched a mobile application named as “Chikitsa Setu” for the training of doctors, paramedical staff and other Corona Warriors to safeguard them from Covid-19. This platform includes videos made by medical experts from King George Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow -State Government’s premier medical education university.

Key Aspects

  • Chikitsa Setu made peer to peer training available to every frontline worker, whether in rural or urban area, pvt or public hospital, by connecting them to the leading experts in their field.
  • Availability of training material from medical experts at people’s fingertips. Short videos(1 to 7 minutes), which retains the audience’s interest. More than 30 topics based on extensive field survey & research.
  • Facility of Searching is available, Easy to use, intuitive user interface. Users can submit their query. National and State helpline numbers available. Latest ICMR and Govt of India guidelines available. A dedicated FAQ page is also available.

Beneficiary of the Project

Doctors, Paramedical Staff, Safaikarmi, other Corona Warriors and Citizen are the targeted beneficiaries. Chikitsa Setu has trained over 200 doctors and over 1200 other paramedical and associated staff.

Smart Ganna Kisan

Keeping the national objective of “Doubling the farmers income” and “Ease of doing business”, the Department of Cane and Sugar Industry has successfully implemented Project for cane purchase system in the State.

Key Aspects

  • The objective of the initiative is to ensure technology driven, transparent, hassle free, time saving, minimal human interface, environment friendly, effective, efficient process.
  • The intent is to safeguard the interests of small and marginal farmers, eliminating middlemen, reducing cut to crush time, streamlining transportation, saving time and human resource, ease of operations to all stakeholders and curbing the exploitative malpractice of under-weighment.
  • The project established an equitable cane marketing platform in the State; benefitting all the stakeholders, i.e. farmers, sugar mills and government machinery
  • It empowered the farmers with easy access of information through “E-Ganna App” on mobiles and website.

Beneficiary of the Project

The credibility established by this system resulted in registration of around 10.67 lakh new farmer members in the Cane Development Societies. It also increased an overall supply of sugarcane to the mills resulting in an additional income of Rs.3,480 crore to the farmers.
