Schools have no right to take child and parents interview. They should concentrate only on education. They are taking such a high fees so they should be responsible to trained them If child is extraordinary then what is the need to send them in school.

taking high fee does not mean that they can ignore the social structure of the child and parent, interviewing the parent and child may help the administration to understand the child better so that they can teach well. Novahu valluri

At first, you have to apply online in the website:http://rte25admission.maharashtra.gov.in/

The documents required for those from applying from economically weaker sections are:

  1. Birth certificate.

  2. Proof of residence (refer above for which type).

  3. Income certificate issued by the Revenue officer not below the rank of Tahsildar.

  4. Recent passport size colour photograph of the child.

Note: Documents must be verified from the nearest help centre. 30 help centres have been set up in Mumbai as well as in other Districts of Maharashtra.

A child has been admitted in 7TH CLASS in govt. school. unfortunately, she could not attend school due to early menstrual problems. she did not write all Formative, summative assessments. But, she is a knowledgeable girl. As per RTE ACT can she be promoted to 8th class? what is the process involved in promotion to the next class? To whom we apply to get permission for further class promotion? kindly guide us. Awaiting for your early reply.
