Lakhs of items are innovated already. There is no need to innovate these outdated technologies. Try inventing an LEd Tv, advanced mobile phone, a tab like an iPad, etc.. Whole world will follow us. It requires huge investment, research, technology, dedication.

For a genuine start over we can go 50000 mega watt solar projects for only villages and connect it with various rural substations , with solar cooker or normal 400-800 watts heating coils for 2 & 2 hrs to each calculative houses , or a bio-gas plant comprising to be provided 2hrs on day and two hrs on evening so that a consumption standard can be kept of . normally we want the rural belts of India to work in various angles so food preparing thing and eating time should be clearly set up, similarly with 24 hrs of water through ground water and river filtration supplies. These are normal criteria everyone has a innovation pace of thing hope the rural atmosphere changes soon.
