An inspired youth uses and promotes Vikaspedia in his village

Mr Bachubhai Togabhai Chohla shares his experience on how he came to know about Vikaspedia and his present involvement with the portal.

When I was going to school, we had education till 5th standard in our village and my parents had sent me out after 6th standard. We could not survive it for long due to distance and I entered into diamond business at an early age. Finally at the age of 25 some friend suggested me that if I want to pursue my education I could do it by giving 10th exams and I started doing preparations. I could get through board exams and now I am doing ITI. I am also working as Computer Operator in Gram Panchayat and helping my village people, especially youth by motivating them to continue education. I got to know about Vikaspedia via BISAG training and now I am regularly using the portal. Apart from my regular guidance to villagers about Adhaar Card, Election Card, Ration Card etc. I am telling people to use the information on Vikaspedia Gujarati portal. It is very informative and I am sure with help of vernacular information anyone can get information and understand it very easily. Would want to contribute as much as I can to the portal.
