Vikas News – January 2018 issue

Dear Users,

Vikaspedia wishes all its users a happy New Year 2018

This New Year with new resolutions and aspirations, Vikaspedia looks forward to your continued support in empowering the common man with the most powerful developmental input - information.

As is customary, the end of an year is the time when all Ministries make available to the citizens a Year-end account of their achievements. This provides a snapshot of the policies and schemes and initiatives taken by the Ministries for the welfare of the citizens. For the benefit of the Vikaspedia community, we provide the links of year end reviews of Ministries associated with key livelihood domains under the section “Schemes for You”.

Safety for women is important whether it’s in the physical or cyber space. “Prevention is better than cure” holds good for being safe in the cyberspace too. Simple tips, if followed diligently, can avert major cyber threats faced by women today. Do visit the section “InfoSec for You” to know more.

The regular sections on Vacancies/Recruitment notices from government agencies and Domain-wise content update also find place in this issue of Vikas News.

Happy reading………………
