Right to Information

Right to Information is an act of the Parliament of India which sets out the rules and procedures regarding citizens' right to information. An Act to provide for setting out the practical regime of right to information for citizens to secure access to information under the control of public authorities, in order to promote transparency and accountability in the working of every public authority, the constitution of a Central Information Commission and State Information Commissions and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

How to apply

Citizen can apply for information under RTI Act in the DM Office of Dhalai District. The citizen can apply online in the eDistrict Portal also.

  • Common Application Form 
  • BPL Proof (Photocopy of BPL Certificate/Ration Card   )
  • Nationality Proof (Citizenship Certificate/Passport/PRTC/AADHAAR Card/Election ID)
