The Election Commission of India (ECI) has launched a drive to link voter identity cards with Aadhaar cards. The aim of the exercise is ensure that one voter is registered in only one constituency or only once in the same constituency. How to link Aadhaar with EPIC To link Aadhaar with EPIC, voters need to apply in Form 6B, either online or offline. Online linking of Aadhaar with EPIC Voters can link their Aadhaar with their EPIC (Voter ID) by using one of the following options: Through National Voters Service Portal Visit https://voters.eci.gov.in/ Login if you have account. If not, create an account On successful login, fill the details of your Aadhaar - name, Aadhaar number, mobile number and email id. On successful submission of the details, you can authenticate the entered Aadhaar details in the following ways. With Self-authentication: Authenticate Aadhaar using OTP to be received on your mobile number that is linked to your Aadhaar number. Without Self-authentication: In case you do not have a mobile number linked to your Aadhaar or you are unable to authenticate using self-authentication, you can upload a copy of Aadhaar card. On successful authentication, your Aadhaar and EPIC is linked. Through Voter Helpline App Download Mobile App 'Voter Helpline' from Play Store (for Android) OR App Store (for iOS). Click on Voter Registration option Click on Electoral Authentication Form (Form 6B) Enter Mobile number and click Send OTP Verify your mobile number through entry of received OTP Enter Voter ID and Fetch your Voter ID details and submit Enter Aaadhaar number, Mobile number and Place and Submit Check details and confirm submission. Offline Through Voter Centre You can physically submit copies of EPIC card and Aadhaar card along with filled Form 6B to your concerned Electoral Registration Officer’s office or to the Voters’ Help Center in your Legislative Assembly area.
