Aaykar Setu-Taxpayer service

Aaykar Setu is an effort by the Income Tax Department (ITD) to directly communicate with the taxpayers, on a range of multiple informative and useful tax services aimed at providing tax information at their fingertips.

What does it offer

The module compiles various tax tools, live chat facility, dynamic updates, and important links to various processes within the Income Tax Department in a single module. The tax payers will also be able to receive regular updates regarding important tax dates, forms and notifications on mobile numbers registered with the ITD.

How to access the service

The service is available both as a web version and mobile app.

The website can be accessed at http://www.incometaxindia.gov.in/Pages/tps/default.aspx. The following services can be accessed through the website.

• Information and tutorials related to Income Tax filing
• Tax tools
• Grievance registration and status check
• All taxpayers who wish to receive regular updates as SMS / email alerts are to register their mobile numbers / emails in the Aaykar Setu module.
