Internet and World Wide Web Fundamentals teaches how to explore the Web, use search engines, work with electronic mail (e-mail), and create Web pages with Microsoft FrontPage®. Early lessons have students connecting to the Internet, printing Web pages, and learning about security in cyberspace. Students then gain a basic understanding of the tools of Microsoft Outlook®, which they will use to manage and organize personal data and e-mail. In later lessons, students learn how to join newsgroups and work with instant messaging software. The course concludes with two lessons on the use of FrontPage to create Web pages, design Web sites, and post a home page to the Web.
