The scheme is for pregnant women to access Government health facilities for their delivery.
The objective of this study was to assess the Kasturba Poshan Sahay Yojana. The specific objectives were (i) To assess the health services provided to the beneficiary of Kasturba Poshan Sahay Yojana. (ii) To assess the expenditure/utilization of money provided to KPSY beneficiaries. (iii) To assess the awareness and knowledge of beneficiaries about Kasturba Poshan Sahay Yojana.
The Rashtriya Kishor Swasthya Karyakram was launched on the 7th January, 2014. The programme envisions enabling all adolescents in India to realize their full potential by making informed and responsible decisions related to their health and well-being and by accessing the services and support they need to do so.
The Women Helpline is intended to provide 24 hours immediate and emergency response to women affected by violence through referral linking with appropriate authority such as police, One Stop Centre, hospital.
