Bhamashah Yojana

Brief Objective

With the objective of financial inclusion of women and their empowerment, the Rajasthan Bhamashah Yojana was launched in the year 2008. The project aims to make women financially independent and provide the benefits of multiple other schemes through the Bhamashah Card Yojana.

Benefits

A family gets all the cash benefits of various government schemes like NREGA, maternity benefits, food secturity (ration),  pension, scholarships, health card for free medical treatment, loan for entrepreneurs, etc by having the Bhamashah card. The family bank account is generally opened with woman as the head of the famly to receive the entitlements.

Eligibility

• Should be a resident of Rajasthan state
• To receive scholarships, students must be enrolled in government schools and colleges.

To apply for Bhamasha Card, citizens can apply online through the Rajasthan portal or visit the nearest  nearest e-Mitra center.
