Y.S.R Nine Hours Free Power Supply

Brief objective

The government has been implementing the ambitious scheme of nine hours daytime free power to agriculture, free power to SC, ST families and power to aqua farmers at cheaper price. Aqua farmers would get power at Rs 1.50 per unit which benefits 53,649 families.

Benefits to the citizens

The nine hours per day time free power supply would benefit 18.15 lakh farmers for which the government allocated Rs 4,525 crore.

Poor farmers belonging to SC, ST families and aqua farmers
