Assam Farmer's Credit Subsidy Scheme (AFCSS)

Brief objective

Assam Farmer's Credit Subsidy Scheme (AFCSS) will provide 25% reimbursement (subsidy) on short term crop loans upto maximum cap of Rs. 25000, 4 lakh farmers to be benefited 

Benefits to the citizens

The scheme is intended to ease the burdern on farmers to pay back loans and contributes towards their economic and social development of the farmers.

Eligibility

• It applies to farmers only in Assam.
• The scheme is applicable only for crops loans that are taken, by the farmers.
• This applies to the loans that are taken only during the financial year 2018-19.
