Integrated Poultry Development Scheme

Breif Objective

Under this scheme, the Bihar government aims to increase the production of poultry meat and make the state self-sufficient in poultry meat production

Benefits to the Citizens

To promote broiler farming, farmers will be given 30 percent subsidy for general category beneficiaries and 50 percent for scheduled caste / scheduled tribe beneficiaries for a farm with 3,000 capacity.

Eligibility

The eligibility of this scheme is the following, which must be fulfilled: - 

  • Beneficiaries will have to make arrangements for land required for setting up broiler poultry farm. 
  • A minimum of 7,000 square feet of land is required to build the infrastructure of a 3,000 capacity broiler poultry farm. 
  • The proposed land needs to be connected to the road, so that there is a facility of transport.  
  • It will be necessary to provide a map of the land where the farm is to be made. 
  • The land should be self-occupied and on lease. The name of either the father and the claimant should be on the land. Apart from this, there should not be two claimants on one land. In AC condition the form will be canceled. 
  • Ceiling land will not be included in this scheme. 
  • It is necessary to have a detailed proposal (project report) for the 3,000 hen farm. 
  • Priority will be given to the beneficiary receiving training. 
  • After the government subsidy, if the beneficiary bank wants to take a loan, then the merging gem of 10 percent for all sections (ie itself should remain 10 percent of the total project). This means that Rs. 90,000 should be with the beneficiary.

  • Applicants are required to register and filling all essential details
