About Vikaspedia Vikaspedia is a Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India initiative that provides an AI enabled ecosystem to promote the availability of multilingual digital information for societal good. The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Hyderabad, a scientific society under MeitY is implementing the nationwide initiative. Developed as part of this initiative is the AI erniched multilingual, multi-sectoral collaborative content creation platform - Vikaspedia – www.vikaspedia.gov.in / www.vikaspedia.in. Vikaspedia enables access and sharing of information covering multiple domains related to social development such as Education, Health, Social Welfare, Agriculture, e-Governance, Energy, etc. The information is available covering all 22 constitutionally recognized languages of the country, besides English. Vikaspedia's AI enabled features are made available for assisted content drafting, translation, accessibility, discovery and dissemination. About Vikaspedia webinar Vikaspedia webinars are being organized with the objective of creating awareness and building capacities about Vikaspedia and the various volunteering opportunities in it. Who can attend Any interested citizen/institution who is interested to know about Vikaspedia and associate with it for societal good, can participate in the webinar. What will be covered in the webinar The webinar intends to explain and demonstrate the following to the participants A walkthrough of the Vikaspedia collaborative content creation platform - objectives, offerings, stakeholders, etc Hands-on session on Knowledge management in Vikaspedia portal – content authoring, review, updation, translation, etc and the use of AI tools Volunteering opportunities in Vikaspedia - content digitization, translation, creation, review, outreach, technology development, etc. Webinar schedule The Vikaspedia webinars are to be held weekly for a duration of 45 minutes. The entry to the webinar is free and open to all. The webinar would be offered initially in English and Hindi. More languages would be added based on need. The date and time and link of the webinar will be sent to the registered members mobile number (as Whatsapp) and email atleast two days before the webinar. Registered members are hence requested to check their Mobile/Email for updates. Download Participation Certificate A certificate of participation would be given to all the registered participants who attend the complete webinar session. You can download a system generated digital Participation Certificate from the link https://vikaspedia.in/certificate. The certificate would be generated after 3 working days of the completion of a webinar.
