Old age pension scheme

Government of Himachal Pradesh has started this scheme to benefit the old people of the state. The main objective of this scheme is to provide 'financial help' to the old people of Himachal Pradesh.

Benefits

• It will help the old population to become self-reliant.
• To give priority to that section of the population who are poor.
• The government will provide financial assistance ranging from Rs 750 to Rs 1300 per month to the beneficiary.

Eligibility

• The applicant should be a permanent resident of Himachal Pradesh.
• Annual income should be less than 35,000
• The age of the applicant should be 60 years or more.
• Recommendation from the concerned Gram Panchayat.

How to apply

• Click here to download the application form and fill the form using the correct information.
• Submit the form to your concerned Panchayat or Tehsil Welfare Officer. Thereafter, the Tehsil officer sends that list to the concerned District Welfare Officer.
• The applicants above 70 years would have to directly send the application form to Tehsil Welfare Officer.

2. Income certificate
3. Birth Certificate
4. Passport size photo (2 copies)
5. Mobile number, Bank account passbook
6. Voter ID and
7. Pan Card
