AP government provides free treatment for specific illness to the eligible patients in any hospital in the state.
Here is the list of eligibility criteria points, who are eligible for the YSR AarogyaSri scheme in Andhra Pradesh
There is no separate enrollment, all the BPL families holding valid white ration card are automatically covered from the day of implementation of the scheme.

The BPL families and families coming under employees and pensioners health scheme and working journalist health scheme are already covered with quality health care. The remaining population accounting to 32 lakhs of families will be covered under the scheme.
The APL / BPL families can enroll under "Aarogya Raksha" from 01.01.2017 by paying the premium for the entire family for one year @ Rs.1200/- for individual. The new born can be registered under the Scheme by paying Rs.100/- per month for the remaining financial months. The newly married couple either the wife or husband belongs to other state can be registered under one family by paying the entire annual premium.

Working Journalists Health Scheme is formulated to provide cashless treatment to the journalists of the State Government and their dependent family members. 50% of total amount will be borne by Government and 50% by the Journalists contribution.
