Overview

Judgement & Orders search Portal (High Courts of India) is an initiative of  Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice, GOI launched for the convenience of its stakeholders in searching judgments easily. It is a repository for Judgments and Final Orders of the High Courts. National Judicial Data Grid, NJDG, is serving as a warehouse of judicial data. High Court NJDG is also launched, wherein data from all the High Courts and its benches is available for public.

NJDG has brought greater transparency to the Judicial System.

Key Aspects

  • Most important feature of this portal is use of free text search engine, which finds out judgments based on given keyword or combination of keywords. Combination of several search options may assist the stakeholders to get the desired results. Multiple search boxes help to narrow search results.
  • The facility shall serve as an  e-filing and electronic case management tool (ECMT) for Advocates and Litigants under Ease of Doing Business. The portal for judgments search is the repository for Judgments and Final Orders of the High Courts.
  • Facility is provided to search judgments based on several search criteria and parameters like free text search engine, which finds out judgments based on given keyword/combination of keywords. Multiple search boxes are provided to narrow search results.

Beneficiary of the Project

Judgment Search portal provides Judgments of all the High Courts, nearly 75 Lakh judgments free of cost at a click of mouse 24*7 to Citizens, Litigants, Advocates, Law students, Advocate clerks, district and Subordinate Courts, High Courts, Supreme Court of India Government Departments and Judges.
